Paula Asinof was a featured speaker at the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association, 100th Anniversary Convention. She led workshops on "Secrets of Great Resumes" and "Be Sharp: Tell Me About Yourself to students studying journalism throughout Texas".

 

Directions to Yellow Brick Path


From 75/Central Expressway: Exit Blackburn/Haskell. Go West onto Blackburn (East takes you onto Haskell).  Cross McKinney Avenue (signal), Cole Avenue (signal), and take then turn Right/North on the next street, Travis.


From Dallas North Tollway: Exit Oak Lawn. This is a new exit and does not show up on some mapping systems. Go North a couple of miles North on Oak Lawn.  Major cross streets with signal lights: Maple (Scottish Rite Hospital), Cedar Springs, Lemmon, and Blackburn.  Turn Right onto Blackburn. Go down the hill to Turtle Creek; continue up the hill to the first real Left turn onto Travis.


From I35E/Stemmons: Exit Oak Lawn. Follow Oak Lawn directions as from Dallas North Tollway.  [NOTE:  Your Internet map or GPS system may direct you to take I35E to 75/Central Expressway.  This takes you via highway across the North end of Downtown and through an often congested traffic area, especially during rush hours.  If you decide to do this, follow directions for 75/Central Expressway –but exit Lemmon Avenue and follow the service road to Blackburn Haskell.]


From Downtown Dallas: 75/Central Expressway OR take McKinney Avenue North to Blackburn.  Go West on Blackburn, cross Cole, take next Right/North onto Travis.
